The illustrator of the day is Lucy Vigrass. Based in Shoreditch, the hipster rival town to Bedford, Lucy creates graphic screen prints without pretension or ironic mustaches. I pretty much love everything she does simply because I adore her bold graphic approach. I had the pleasure of working with her on a delightful illustration of paper fiesta flags for the magazine. Of course it turned out as perfect as button. You can find more of her work at the illustration collective Peepshow and over at the Art Department. Have a look and see why I love Lucy.
