Sunshine Reggae

I always feel the most creative when it's warm outside. Somehow the snow and wind chill dull my artistic heart. Call me crazy. So when I found the beautiful sun soaked photography of Justin Hollar, I immediately felt a big, "Ahhhh...yes". His work makes me want to hum the Beach Boys and grab my camera to shoot outdoors. And then munch on a popsicle while pretending school's out for summer. We may be well into June, but the summer hasn't fully made it's appearance. As a child, did you ever sing the song, Mr. Sun? We used to sing it in elementary school to encourage the sun to come out and play. I think I might try that tactic this fine Friday. "Oh Mr. Sun, Sun! Mr. Golden Sun, please shine down on meeeee!"
