Wizard of Oz

Bonjour Australia, Canada's hot cousin. The dream trip has begun. After my Olympic detour, Adrian and I are finally on our way down under for some much needed creative refuel and surfing. I am really looking forward to flushing the toilet and watching the water swirl counterclockwise. Hopefully my blog posts won't up upside down. Well see.

The plan is to discover even more daily inspiration and soak up the creative culture in both Sydney and Melbourne – including Semi-Permanent's design conference. We'll be hitting up hip hotels, cafés, boutiques and reporting back with new discoveries and treasures. Tally ho!

I think we need a little Men at Work to set the mood. Sing it loud people: He was six foot four and full of muscles. I said, "Do you speak-a my language?" He just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich. And he said, "I come from a land down under".
