PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE DAY MARLENE MARINO
All the beautiful people live in Marlene Marino's photos. Influenced by Nouvelle Vague film, and the avant-guard photo movement of 70’s Japan, Marlene's work is a nostalgic look into a private space. I am very inspired by her touching photography. They feel like stills from The Virgin Suicides. Dreamy. And one can dream, right?

Very nicely done photos. I just love the black and white photos. They have a mystique about them that you loose in color.

It's like looking in the mirror!
Ha.
I saw Mr. Winkle! My daughter wants a dog so badly. We can't do it. But if one of those came across my path I know I would do something foolish!
Denise: I know, these models are a spitting image of yours truly – in my dreams. Such beautiful work. Sigh...
Mr. Winkle rules (sorry Mick). He once took the spotlight away from Carrie Bradshaw's book signing in a Sex in the City episode. So much useless information.
gorgeous! nice new layout too lady!
